The coupons on this site, or linked to this site, are only redeemable at selected Checkers, Checkers Hyper, Shoprite, Shoprite Hyper, Pick n Pay, Pick n Pay Hyper, Dis-Chem and SPAR stores or other specified retailers in South Africa ("the Participating Stores") or at specified partners as set out on the coupon ("Rewards Partners").

Subject to specific terms and conditions applicable to any specific coupon offering, the coupon entitles the bearer to the stated discount off the selected variant as specified on the site. The coupon code, representative of the coupon in the user's basket, is to be used only once and will be invalid thereafter. Coupons may not be exchanged or redeemed for cash and no change will be given on the coupon. The misuse of this coupon constitutes fraud. This coupon cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion. One coupon code can represent a number of coupons. Only one coupon may be redeemed per product.

Coupon validity is subject to available stock in store.

If you experience any issues at the till point with the coupon code and your transaction is unsuccessful, ensure that you keep your till slip with a record of the products purchased within your coupon basket. No cash for products purchased using mobile coupons will be refunded without valid proof of purchase.

  2. Reward Rules

    Minute and Bonus Airtime
    • Minutes and Bonus airtime can be used for calls to Vodacom numbers only
    • The following calls will be excluded for use with these bundles:
      • Call to other SA networks
      • International calls
      • Premium rated and VAS calls
      • Roaming call
      • Video calls (on and off net)
      • Call Sponsor
      • General service calls
      • Directory Enquiry Calls
      • Fax Out dial
      • Call Forwarding
      • Short Voice Service
      • Through - connect (off-net)
      • Reverse Charge
      • Reconnect
    • All non-qualifying calls will be billed at the customer's current price plan
    • Minute bundle utilisation will be per minute (60/60)
    • Airtime Depletion Rates:
      • R1.50 / minute (billed per second) - VC to VC calls only
      • R1.50/ MB (billed per 10kB)
      • R0.50 per SMS


    Data bundles
    • Data bundles will deplete per 10kb
    • Data bundles cannot be used for data roaming
    • All non-qualifying data usage will be billed as per the customer's price plan
    SMS bundles
    • SMS bundles can be used for sending SMSs to any South African network (excluding Premium Rated and value added SM's or international SMSs)

    Validity periods:
    • 3 day bundles: valid from time of redemption until 23:59 on the 3rd day
    • 7 day bundles: valid from time of redemption until 23:59 on the 7th day.
    • 14 day bundles: valid from time of redemption until 23:59 on the 14th day.
    • 30 day bundles: valid from time of redemption until 23:59 on the 30th day.
    • Voice minutes bundles, SMS bundles and Data bundles Rewards will be allocated immediately to a Prepaid, Top Up or uChoose customer who has won one of these Rewards.
    • Contract customers will be allocated these Reward bundles within twenty four (24) hours of qualifying for the Reward.
    • Bundles will be available to use on the day of allocation, within any specified usage period, and will expire as per the stated validity period (e.g. DDMMYYYY HH:mm).
    • Unused Reward bundles will expire and there will be no carry over or refund.
    • Reward bundles cannot be transferred to other customers.
    • Any usage that falls outside the specified usage period or after the bundle is depleted will be billed at the customer's applicable price plan rates.
    • Vodacom4Less customers will not receive discounts while they have an active TP voice bundle e.g. Bonus airtime or voice minutes
    • Vodacom voice minute bundles and Bonus Airtime will specify usage, whether for Vodacom to Vodacom (VC-VC) calls or calls to any SA Network (Any Network).
      • Vodacom to Vodacom (VC-VC) Reward bundles can only be used to call other customers on the Vodacom network, subject to the exclusions listed below, and will be consumed on a per minute basis, irrespective of the customer's applicable price plan.
      • Any Network Reward bundles can be used to call a customer on any South African mobile network, including Vodacom, MTN, Cell C, Telkom Mobile, Virgin Mobile, Trace Mobile, FNB Connect (and any other unspecified MVNOs in South Africa), and will be consumed on a per minute basis, irrespective of the customer's applicable price plan.
    • All calls initiated within the specified usage period but terminated outside of the period will deplete from the Reward voice bundle until the last minute of the Reward bundle validity period and the remainder of the call will be billed according to the customer's existing price plan rate.
    • Vodacom SMS Reward bundles can be used for sending SMS to national destinations including "SMS to email" but cannot be sent to international or premium rated numbers or services. One (1) SMS is equivalent to 160 characters, including spaces.
    • Data sessions initiated within the specified usage period but terminated outside of the period will deplete from the Data Reward bundle until the last minute of the stated bundle validity period and the remainder of the session will be billed from an existing active data bundle or at the specified out-of-bundle rate applicable to the customer's price plan.
    • Prepaid, Top Up or uChoose customers converting to contract price plans or vice versa will not be able to retain their allocated voice minutes, Data or SMS Reward bundles once the conversion is successfully completed.
    • Prepaid customers converting to uChoose or vice versa will retain their allocated voice minutes, Data or SMS rewards bundles after the conversion is successfully completed.
  3. General Terms and Conditions
    • All customers participating in this offer agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    • The decision of Vodacom in regard to all aspects of the promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    • Save in the event of Vodacom's gross negligence, Vodacom, it's directors, affiliates, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, suppliers, contractors, subsidiaries and sponsors assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss or damage occurring as a result of participation in this game show or as a result of the use of any of the prizes, or from any amendments to these terms and conditions.
    • Vodacom shall have no liability whatsoever for any breach of these terms and conditions due to any cause beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to: an act of God (including inter alia weather, flood and lightning), technical issues (including inter alia network/technical operation interruption, telecommunication interruption, breakdowns, power failures and other interruptions), fire, industrial action, act or omission of Government, or other competent authority, riot, war or act or omission of any third party for whom Vodacom is not responsible.
    • If the promotion is held to be or becomes unlawful, Vodacom shall have the right to terminate this promotion immediately without prior notice. In such event the participants will waive all rights they may have had and acknowledge that they will have no right of recourse to Vodacom, its directors, affiliates, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, suppliers, contractors, subsidiaries and sponsors.
    • Vodacom may refuse to award any reward if any irregularities or fraudulent activities are suspected.
    • Vodacom, its directors, affiliates members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, suppliers, contractors, subsidiaries and sponsors will not be liable for taxes or any other cost incurred by the customer receiving a reward.
    • Vodacom shall be entitled, as far as is permissible in law, in their entire discretion, to reject any reward for any reason whatsoever and will not be obliged to correspond with any person about the promotion
  4. Privacy and Data Protection

    This clause explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information. This clause should be read with the Vodacom Privacy Policy. If we update this clause and our privacy policy, we will post any changes on our website.

    • Using your personal information
    • 9. We may use and analyse your information to:
      1. process the goods and services you have bought from us, and keep you updated with your order progress;
      2. keep you informed generally about new products and services (unless you choose not to receive our marketing messages);
      3. provide the relevant service or product to you. This includes other services not included in this terms and conditions, and services that use information about where you are when using your mobile equipment (location information) and to contact you with messages about changes to the service or product;

      11. carry out research and statistical analysis including to monitor how customers use our network, products and services on an anonymous or personal basis;
      12. prevent and detect fraud or other crimes, recover debts or trace those who owe us money;
      13. provide aggregated reports to third parties (such reports do not contain any information which may identify you as an individual).
    • 10. The information we use will be your approximate location, based on the nearest mobile cell site. As a result, this will change as you move around with your mobile phone.
    • 11. We will store your information for as long as we have to by law. If there is no legal requirement, we will only store it for as long as we need it.
    • Sharing your personal information
    • 12. We may share information about you with:
      1. companies in the Vodacom and Vodafone Group (Vodafone Group Plc and any company or other organisation in which Vodacom owns more than 15% of the share capital);
      2. partners or agents involved in delivering the Services;
      3. companies who are engaged to perform Service for, on behalf of Vodacom (Pty) Ltd including Vodafone Limited, or the Vodafone Group;
      4. where applicable, credit reference, fraud prevention or business scoring agencies, or other credit scoring agencies;
      5. debt collection agencies or other debt recovery organisations;
      6. law enforcement agencies, regulatory organisations, courts or other public authorities if we have to, or are authorised to by law;
      7. emergency services (if you make an emergency call), including your approximate location.
    • 13. We will release information if it's reasonable for the purpose of protecting us against fraud, defending our rights or property, or to protect the interests of our customers.
    • 14. If we are reorganised or sold to another organisation, we may transfer any personal information we hold about you to that organisation.
    • 15. We may need to transfer your information to other group companies or service providers in countries outside South Africa. This may happen if our servers or suppliers and service providers are based outside South Africa, or if you use our services and products while visiting countries outside this area.
    • 16. At your option, we may also share your information with partner organisations we've chosen carefully, so they can contact you about their products and services.
    • Keeping your personal information secure
    • 17. We have specialised security teams who constantly review and improve our measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, accidental loss, disclosure or destruction.

If we have a contract with another organisation to provide us with services or a service on our behalf to process your personal information, we will make sure they have appropriate security measures and only process your information in the way we've authorised them to. These organisations will not be entitled to use your personal information for their own purposes.     • 19. Communications over the internet (such as emails) are not secure unless they have been encrypted. Your communications may go through a number of countries before being delivered - as this is the nature of the internet. We cannot accept responsibility for any unauthorised access or loss of personal information that's beyond our control.

  4. Consumer Care
    • The consumer care flow is as follows:
      1. In-store customers can make with the In-Store Retail Manager to resolve the query.
      2. If unresolved; the In Store Retail Manager ("Users") will interact with the Wuhu Deals Jira Service Desk.
      3. Wuhu Deals will make a Jira Service Desk instance available. This is a website that will guide users through a wizard with remediation steps.
      4. If the wizard cannot resolve this issue then the user will be required to create a ticket. Tickets will carry various classifications and Wuhu Deals, represented by Thumbtribe, will respond to those tickets in order of their priority as defined by their classification as well as the agreed SLA response times against those classifications.
      5. Progress can be monitored via Jira Service Desk.
      6. The issue will be either technical or not and will be handled by the appropriate Thumbtribe internal resource and the solution will be provided by Thumbtribe to the users.

  5. Mobile Coupons Terms Of Use
    The coupons on this site, or linked to this site, are only redeemable at selected Checkers, Checkers Hyper, Shoprite, Shoprite Hyper, Pick n Pay and Pick n Pay Hyper stores or other specified retailers in South Africa ("the Participating Stores") or at specified partners as set out on the coupon page ("Rewards Partners").

    Subject to specific terms and conditions applicable to any specific coupon offering, the coupon entitles the bearer to the stated discount off the selected variant as specified on the site. The coupon code, representative of the coupon in the user's basket, is to be used only once and will be invalid thereafter.   2. Who may enter? The Competition is open to all South African citizens only, who must be in possession of a valid identity document and must be 18 years or older.
  3. Who may not enter? The Competition is not open to any director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Promoter, its marketing service providers or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by these entities, including their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  4. Agreement to receive marketing material: By participating in the Competition, participants agree to receive future marketing material from the brand/s on promotion. However, the participant has the right to unsubscribe to receiving marketing material or request the Promoter to delete their information by contacting the Promoter at 15 Nollsworth Crescent, Nollsworth Park, La Lucia, 4051 Att: Legal Department or opting out from any electronic marketing message.
  5. Privacy: All personal information ('Personal Data') supplied by participants shall be processed in accordance with South African data protection legislation and the Promoter's Privacy Policy.
  6. Competition term: The Competition will run and entries will be accepted only between 02h00 (South African Standard Time) on Monday, 24 July 2017 until 23h00 (South African Standard Time) on Sunday, 20 August 2017.
  7. How to enter: Participants must:
    • 7.1. Buy the relevant KVI products, as stated on wuhu.co.za
    • 7.2. Visit the Checkers Little Shop subdomain on Wuhu Deals;
    • 7.3. Enter through the entry form on the site, answer the two questions provided and provide a relevant and acceptable photograph of themselves with their purchased products as well as a legible photo of the till slip showing the products that were purchased.
  8. Participants must enter in their correct contact details. If a Winner has given incorrect contact details, the Promoter reserves the right to select another Winner in terms of the rules.
  9. Participants may enter as many times as they wish provided that each entry is associated with a separate comment.
  10. The Prize: The prize is one of 25 limited edition Checkers Little Shop 2016 sets OR one of 25 limited edition Checkers Little Shop 2017 sets which each include the full selection of relevant mini's as advertised by checkers. The prize is valued at R4500 each.
  11. The Prize includes delivery and the Promoter will deliver the Prize to the winner. The winner will be required to provide the Promoter with a valid daytime delivery address.
  12. How will winners be chosen? The Promoter will select 50 winners based on answers that showcase:
    • 12.1. A legitimate love of Unilever Products and shopping at Checkers Stores.
    • 12.2. Answers are simple and easy to follow;
    • 12.3. Photography is relevant and unique; and
    • 12.4. Answers are original.
  13. How will you be notified? The winning participants will be notified via their mobile phone.
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize for another prize of like value at any time and for any reason and without notice to participants.
  15. A winner must respond and claim their Prize within 48 hours of receiving notification that they are a winner. Failure to redeem the prize within this specified time frame will be considered to be a forfeiture of the prize.
  16. The Promoter reserves the right to use the images taken of the Winner for publicity purposes in any manner they deem fit, without remuneration being made payable to the Winner. However, the Winner has the right to object to these images being used by written notification to the Promoter at 15 Nollsworth Crescent, Nollsworth Park, La Lucia, 4051 Att: Legal Department.
  17. GENERAL
  18. A copy of these rules can be found on the following website www.wuhu.co.za; throughout the period of the competition or can be obtained from the Consumer Call Centre on telephone number 086 057 2908.
  19. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged, delayed, incorrect or incomplete entries for any reason whatsoever. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
  20. The Promoter shall not be responsible for the failure of any technical element relating to this promotion that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
  21. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer or cell phone hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
  22. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any claim if fraud or cheating is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of code or otherwise frequently falsifying data.
  23. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.
  24. NOTE: Any attempt to use multiple e-mail, cell phone or other tactics to enter more than the stated limit may result in disqualification and all associated entries and will be void. Entries generated by script, macro, bot, commercial contest subscription, incentives or other means not sponsored by the Promoter, vote-swapping sites, voting software, entering service sites or any other automated means and entries by any means that subvert the entry/voting process or do not conform to the terms or spirit of these competition rules, will void the entry/votes and may disqualify the entrant.
  25. The prize is not exchangeable for cash and is not transferrable.
  26. The Promoter shall have the right to change or terminate the promotional competition immediately and without notice, if deemed necessary in its opinion and if circumstances arise outside of their control. In the event of such change or termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they have in respect of this promotional competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter or its agents.
  27. In the event that the Prize is not available despite the Promoter's reasonable endeavours to procure the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize of equal value.
  28. Neither the Promoter, its agents, its associated companies, nor any directors, officers or employees of such, shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by any participant or the winners.
  29. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  30. Participation in the Competition constitutes acceptance of these rules and participants agree to abide by the rules.
  31. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Telkom, MTN, Vodacom and Cell C and the participants acknowledge that they are providing information to the Promoter and its agents only and not to telephone networks.
  32. All participants in this competition release Telkom, MTN, Vodacom and Cell C from all liabilities and claims arising out of or in connection with this competition and these terms and conditions.
  33. The Promoter reserves the right to delete any information uploaded by a participant which the Promoter, in its absolute discretion, believes is illegal, obscene, offensive or defamatory, or infringes the intellectual property rights of a third party, or is otherwise inappropriate for a campaign designed for mass audience entertainment.
  34. Participants warrant that they have full rights to the images and stories that they upload and that the use of the said material shall not constitute a breach of any third party's copyright or other intellectual property rights.
  35. Participants agree that by uploading their "images", they grant permission to the Promoter to use the images or any part thereof, in any and all media for promotional / marketing purposes with no consideration payable to the participants.
